About Us The Gaughan Companies was founded by Patrick J. and Barbara Gaughan. In 1969, they built the company’s first apartment building. As a second generation business and approaching 40 years in business, the son of Patrick J. and Barbara Gaughan, Patrick M. Gaughan is now President and CEO of the Gaughan Companies. While Patrick M. purchased and owns the operations of the company, the family and others, continue to invest in Real Estate. Although it has diversified its services into other areas of real estate over the years, Patrick has followed the same principles and ideals of his parents.
